DDA Standards
The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) Junior Secretariat Assistant skill test is widely regarded as one of the most challenging due to its evaluation logic.
While the target is 35 WPM, the lack of an error buffer means every mistake is amplified. Our simulator replicates this environment, providing the "Net Speed" as per the official DDA formula.
Why It's Different?
Most exams give you a 5% safety net. DDA gives you zero. For every incorrect word, you lose the credit for that word PLUS 10 more words from your total count.
The Official Penalty Formula
Net Speed = [ (Gross Keystrokes / 5) – (Incorrect Words × 10) ] / 10
Notice how heavy the penalty is. If you type 400 words but make 5 mistakes, your net word count drops to 350. Making even a few errors can instantly pull you below the 35 WPM threshold.
Precision First
Do not attempt to type fast in the first minute. Build a perfect streak. In DDA, accuracy is speed.
Correction Strategy
Since arrow keys and backspace are allowed, fix your mistakes immediately. An extra 2 seconds of correction saves a 10-word penalty.
Standard Keyboard
DDA centers use standard desktop keyboards. Avoid practicing on shallow laptop keys if possible.
